Fred Fields of American Outdoor Lighting made buying outdoor lighting for our house an informative, professional yet personalized, and enjoyable experience.  My wife and I knew nothing regarding outdoor lighting except that a light should shine in the darkness and work without having to think or worry about anything else. 

We requested demonstrations and estimates from several outdoor lighting companies.  The same criteria was given to each of the companies.  Each of them provided different, creative designs and demonstrations.  Each of them explained their products and touted their quality.  American Outdoor Lighting was the only one that emphasized the use of shadows as well as light to create an aura about our house and to emphasize some of its best features.  Their design used the least number of lights yet created the most elegant results while providing sufficient light to our house and sidewalk to maintain safety in an area without any street lights.  American Outdoor Lighting also was the only one that did not try to sell us an annual maintenance agreement. 

American Outdoor Lighting took the time to answer all of our questions, openly discussed the pros and cons of design changes, and did not require nor scare you about the need for an annual light bulb maintenance agreement.  Checking of their references and viewing of some of their work proved to be outstanding.  The work and people of American Outdoor Lighting exude expertise, quality, and results.

The installation was completed in a less than a day and American Outdoor Lighting has periodically given us courtesy calls to make sure the system continues to work properly and to our satisfaction.

When my wife and I go outside in our yard at night we feel just like we're on vacation.
